Each summer, the Wewoka Wood Summer Camp Program employs young adults and youth (16.5 & older) as members of the Wewoka Woods staff. The staff train and prepare for a full week prior to camp opening to make sure campers have a top-quality summer camp experience. Teens 15.5 years old by January, can apply to be a Volunteer Staff.
Each year we hire a team of college and high school students to help out with our summer camps. It will be a summer that will change your life! Not only will you be impacting kids lives, but you will have a chance to form lifelong relationships with other summer staff. We hire people each summer for the following positions:
• Counselor
• Food Service
• Lifeguard
• Arts and Crafts
• Maintenance
• Sports/Biking
• Videographer/ Photographer
• Activities Staff
• Wrangler
Dates of Employment:
May 30, 2022, through July 17, 2022
Certification training week: May 24-27 (New lifeguards & Wranglers only)

Adventurer Camp: June 5-10
Junior Camp: June 12-17
Teen Camp: June 19 -24
Burmese Family Camp: June 24-28
Spanish Family Camp: July 1-3
Camp Meeting Prep Week: July 4-8
Camp Meeting: July 8-16
University Scholarships
Southwestern students who work at summer camp will receive a scholarship worth 75% of whatever portion of their net earnings they apply to their account (up to $2,000) The student’s earnings are applied to the fall semester and the Southwestern match is applied to the spring semester.

Wewoka Wood's Chef has is a prefoessional Chef with many years of experience and considered one of the best camp chefs in the region.
